Plain English. No legal cosplay. The short version: we collect one thing, we use it for one thing, and you can leave any time.
If you submit the form on this site, we receive your email address, the date you submitted it, the source page, and a basic technical record (your browser's user agent string).
That's it. We do not run analytics scripts. We do not embed third-party trackers. We do not set non-essential cookies. We do not know if you opened the site twice or once.
Two reasons, both stated up front when you submitted:
The lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You gave it by submitting the form.
Your email is stored in a private spreadsheet we control, in our email server's audit copy, and (during the September app waitlist) in the database of the app we are building. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks. It is not used to train a model.
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the app launches and you opt out at that point. Whichever is sooner.
Under UK GDPR you can:
To do any of those, reply to any of our emails or write to office@theoffwatch.com. We aim to respond within 7 days, often same-day.
We do not use tracking cookies. The site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no marketing cookies. The only thing that touches your browser is the standard fonts loaded from Google Fonts and the static page itself.
